Global Warming, Toxic Spiders Migration

VIVAnews -citizens of the United States need to be alert to the threat of a spider or recluse spider Brown. Therefore, the researchers found that the habitats of these venomous Spiders continue to move due to climate change.

Due to the heat, the spiders were moving towards the area north of that experience more cold. However, the area was thus more inhabited.

As known, the Brown spider is very toxic. One bite of this spider, in some cases, can be deadly.

"The size of the area of habitat suitable for Spider brown recluse is not changed dramatically in the near future," said Erin Saupe, researchers from the University of Kansas, as quoted from Good Environment, Tuesday, may 3, 2011. "However, the area where they breed continues to change."



See on the map above. The dotted line in green is an area where the spider is present. As for the blue area is the area where they expected to move due to rising temperatures.

"That is, it does not mean that the spider Brown expanding their habitat due to warmer temperatures, but they do the relocation," said Saupe. "This is good news for the citizens of Texas and Oklahoma, but bad news for those who live in the North," he said. (art)
