This is a custom commission painting from photos that is artist signed. You can see the photograph before it was painted. A soft look was requested so the background is far less sharp than the subject. The colors are more vibrant and I think it is more pleasant to look at than the photograph. The hair looks especially good closeup and shows up with much more detail on the canvas painting than here online even in the enlarged version when it is clicked on.
