online autism
Orange Foundation always surprises us with its Initiatives in relation to the world of autism. Already some time ago I spoke of Project Azahar, new technology applications to make life easier for people with autism. More recently we talked about the movie "Mary and I" has been possible to make a film with this Foundation.
These days I am surprised with their report on the presence of autism on the Internet. They have
ass and quantitative analysis based on four pillars:
1. Data extracted from the analysis of the presence of autism on the Internet, both in online media, social media (blogs and forums), social networks, such as the Google search engine.
2. Who's Who "of autism in the network. Highlights those web sites that generate more traffic or appear better positioned in search engines, trying both websites like blogs and social networking groups.
3. Comparison of the Internet presence of autism with other disorders, based on the ratio between the number of people who suffer and public impact.
4. Conclusions of the study.
The first section is an interesting study where they compared quantitative graphics the impact of autism on the Internet both in social networks like blogs and forums.
The second section tells us which pages are most visited associations as are considered most relevant blogs. This one really surprised and very, very dear are blogs such as "To the moon and back" of our beloved Maite, the Inma, that of Esther, Anabel, Aspau that of the Mothers to change things ... and mine. I miss several important posts of content and concern in this regard and instead have to know that had their moment of importance but have not had great continuity. Although this is my personal opinion.
also reviewed pages with more importance Face talking first group "against the myths of autism," very wise choice because of its impact and the great work you are doing in the struggle for demands to use the term autism correction .
But more relevant is the point 3 which compares the impact of autism in relation to other problems given that in Spain there should be about 300,000 people with autism ...
This is at least concern, but most likely due to public data measured simply act (As they have cleared a good friend), for example does not measure the amount of information circulating on facebook within groups and is not shared unless they are part of the group or you are among friends of the person sharing information.
I like what it says on the conlusiones with respect to the impacts are even higher in social networks, blog posts and spoken at forums are a great source of information. Lastly
makes this reflection:
"People living with people with autism use the network to exchange impressions and experiences, looking both to receive information like trying to be helpful to others, while maintaining a blog or participating in discussions through forums or social networks. The interaction and communication policies that were developed in this area should focus on social media and social networks to achieve effectiveness and reaching the target audience of the same. "Thanks to the Foundation
