This Letter

Dear Mr. Ban Ki-moon,

I was walking around my neighborhood today when I witnessed how lively my environment was. Unfortunately, the electricity was going out when I arrived home. Suddenly I realized that a lot of people throughout the world are suffering from blackout everyday because of the lack of energy distributed to their homes.

Then, my mind flew to nuclear power. This power is able to produce enormous energy for electricity and give other advantages. In the other side, it’s also possible to destroy this entire planet. I knew that nuclear power could help human being in many aspects. In fact, a lot of people confront the using of this energy and are afraid of nuclear misapplication. I wondered how to maximize the advantages of nuclear power peacefully.

I was grateful to realize that there’s a global organization which accommodate world’s security. Nuclear power should be utilized for good intention. In the other side, people’s ignorance about this issue and fear of its misapplication are obstacles to peaceful use of nuclear power.

As a part of world citizen, I suggest some solutions to this problem. UN could contribute by making the nuclear power as global issue and educating all people about nuclear itself. While doing it, UN should define strict rules of nuclear development, keep supervising, and also support further study about safe nuclear utilization.

Mr. Ban Ki-moon, under your influence in nuclear management, I believe that UN would bring a better future for the entire world by performing peaceful use of nuclear power. Eventually, I hope people would witness how lively this world is and experience the advantages of nuclear power.

This letter brought me to the IMUN conference. Sigh, even till now, I don't have a certainty of my own presence in this event. I really want to, though :'(
