Nokia telah memutuskan untuk meninggalkan pasar ponsel Jepang. Itulah faktanya. Tahun 2008 lalu Nokia mengawalinya dengan tidak menyuplai ponsel untuk carrier Jepang. Namun begitu, Vertu sebagai bagian dari Nokia tetap menyediakan ponsel mewah untuk masyarakat Jepang.

Nokia sebagai perusahaan Ponsel terkemuka akan segera merilis produk terbarunya. Ponsel cerdap Nokia WP 7 akan segera melengkapi kebutuhan teknologi ponsel dunia. Ponsel dengan sistem operasi Windows Phone 7 (WP 7) akan hadir di penghujung tahun 2011.

Victor yang menjabat sebagai Nokia Europe VP ini juga membocorkan di negara mana saja Nokia WP 7 akan dirilis perdana. Beberapa negara di Eropa, menurut dia, akan menjadi tempat pertama peluncuran handset, baru kemudian ke berbagai belahan dunia lainnya.

Secara rinci, Victor menyebut enam negara Eropa yang akan kebagian jatah rilis awal Nokia WP 7. Keenam negara tersebut ialah Inggris, Perancis, Jerman, Italia, Belanda dan Spanyol.

Victor pun menjanjikan sebelum tahun 2011 berakhir, handset WP 7 dari Nokia sudah hadir. Bahkan petinggi Nokia ini mengklaim sudah memiliki ponsel Nokia WP 7 di kantongnya. Namun ia menolak untuk menunjukkannya.

Dari daftar negara di atas, kandang Nokia yakni Finlandia justru belum kebagian jatah. Entah apa alasan Nokia, namun mungkin mereka ingin menguji coba terlebih dahulu pasar di luar negaranya.

WP 7 : Ponsel Terbaru Dari Nokia

Samsung kabarnya akan membeli Nokia. Ini adalah rumor terbaru yang berawal dari twitter Eldar Murtazin. Kabarnya Samsung akan mengakuisisi Nokia. Ini adalah prediksi yang dipublikasikan Eldar Murtazin lewat Twitter. Murtazin sebelumnya memprediksi Nokia akan dibeli Microsoft.
Untuk membuktikan apakah itu gosip atau fakta, Wall Street Journal berusaha mencari keterangan resmi dari kedua pihak, namun belum berhasil. Bisa jadi Samsung dan Nokia malah terlalu malas menanggapi gosip.

Eldar Murtazin adalah pengamat dunia gadget asal Rusia yang aktif di mobile-review.com. Sebelumnya ia telah banyak meramalkan langkah-langkah bisnis yang dilakukan Nokia.
