A friend and fellow blogger Greg mentioned i was starting to resemble Mamoru Oshii...he was too kind because as a film director I still have alot of growing up and learning to do, to even come close to the ghost in the shell auteur but well...the hair, dog and grin...hmmm....u decide... hehehehe.

freshly out of the edit terminal, this is the first trailer for my film 'mother'...sorry for a few translation error and gramatical errors in the subtitling....was rushing it last night on little sleep....subtitling it at 4am....the part where she carry rice sacks...it should be peeling garlic...thanks for pointing it out CY...sorry, will be ammended later...i hope you'll have a look at it...i've never seen so much courage and raw will to live no matter what than in this person...
This is the three variation of poster 2 for my film mother, please put your remarks in the comments section as to which one you like better as i will only maintain one poster per mother and child.
It's so easy to be happy...that's what a little child thought me...her mum is an immigrant worker at a squatter but that doesn't stop her from having outburst of joy saying 'KER-JA' or 'A-YAM'. It's wonderful how children are so carefree and in their little ways gives us so much hope.Froggie smiling...
I thought I better do a quick update since my last entry said I was only going to be gone for a few days. My "vacation" turned out to be a permanent move and my time is now very limited.
I've been really busy and time constraints will now prevent me from painting as much as I'd like to but private commissions are still accepted on a limited basis and a few pieces are still available on my website.
Please check back for my not-so-daily-paintings periodically!
FYI: New York Traffic will be on the cover of "Handbook to Handmade"

The Photography Art 72 class made photos where they left the shutter open a long time in the dark then ran around and "painted" with flashlights. Their photos are delightful surprises, with light magically streaking across the frame or coming from nowhere to illuminate an object. Somehow it seems appropriately symmetricial that photographers who deal with light are had to deal with the darkness to make these photos.
You can see more "paint with light" photography (as well as some other assignments) in in this Flickr slideshow of class work.
